Bush Baby spotted in Kruger National Park
We spotted this cute little fellow last night in the tree behind our house in the Greater Kruger National Park Area. The Bush Babies or Galagos of Africa are of the smallest primates on the continent and are not easily seen due to being active at night.
Leaf like insect (Katydid) greets us
This morning we met a new friend (the Katydid) a leaf-like insect native to Kruger National Park and surrounds. Their camouflage help protect them against predators such as birds. Their quite frighting-looking, but actually very gentile. They like to live in bushed areas such as forests and mountains and they rarely choose to fly.
Spring Festival of Flowers in the Greater Kruger National Park Area
It is a wonderful spring day in the Lowveld and Kruger National Park, it is a paradise of flowers that are blooming on our indigenous trees. On our journey through the veld, we encountered some Wildebeest and it made the perfect photo moment.
